The band name ‘Apollo’ is derived from the Greek and Roman sun-god, patron of music and poetry.

Apollo is an original band whose sound can be described as an interesting hybrid of rock, jazz, funk and hip-hop. This four piece is on a mission to ascend the spheres of musical awareness by tapping the energy of spontaneous improvisation. The band’s philosophy is to present music that delves into an exploration of vibe and pulse. An Apollo live show has been described as a sonic train ride that journeys through the realms of musical possibility.
